White people can be really ignorant

Sometimes I read something online and want to scream at the author and say 'you stupid motherfucker, shut the fuck up!' Well a few days ago I found this blog post by a white male who thinks he was a victim of racism because an African-American woman was given her order before he was given his order. Give me a break buddy, why don't you re-read what you wrote. If anything, this was sexism, not racism.

It's not on his blog post now, but he also wrote something like 'blacks don't face racism everyday' or something similar to that as I forget by now what he wrote word for word. He knew what he wrote was stupid and ignorant because he deleted it and I also left a comment on his blog telling him what I thought and of course he didn't publish it because he knows what he wrote was racist. I would like others to read this guy's post and let me know what you think. Is it racism, sexism, or just his stupid racist ass trying to make something out of nothing?

Hey there dude, thanks for the link back to my post. I deleted your post because you came across as someone who just wanted to start something instead of have a real conversation, and this post doesn't really do a whole lot to change my opinion.

I admit that it may have been sexism, but either way, the point is that you reap what you sow. I am in no way a racist or a sexist, but I am confused by a person who is black and female would want to sow either racism or sexism in any situation if she expects to get treated fairly when it comes time to reap.

maybe he isnt a racist or a sexist but why didnt he just ask the lady at the counter why he was skipped, I think he was trying to be funny and mocking as he doesnt honeslty believe that this one freaking time that some over looked him (how dare they lol) was a racist act. and how mind boggleling must it have been for him that he was so upset went home and wrote about. get over let me know when they start hanging people just for being white, not tan or olive as you pointed out

I think that it is really a double standard. You say you want equality for all but really you don't care about that. You don't care if whites are mistreated. You don't want equality for ALL. If you did you would not mock someone who feels he may have been slighted based on his race because he is white. If he was black and said a white girl got her food first then I ams ure you would have posted about how racist it was.

What can you really do about it? It happens all the time, the only thing we can do it is to ignore them and move on.

Yeah, really. Fuck all the dumb asses, with their selfish and ambiguous ideas about racism. Just deny that there is ignorance amongst both races. Deny that you don't know any better. When the time comes again for another babylon, you will reap what you sow. That includes all races. I myself, stand alone against the shadows of your hatred. Hatred leads to fear; fear to darkness; darkness to disaster. That is the only thing of importance in this life. By the way, I'm caucasian. Go ahead take a swing at that impertinence. Retard.

I think we sometimes forget that racism is also a sensitive topic to white people. But let's not forget our history-- Blacks were treated like shit for a long time and still are-- maybe not to the extent of slavery but racism definitely still exist and racism does make life harder-- is why it is a sensitive topic. People can learn to forgive but they never forget.

My english teacher -- who is black-- never "pulled the race card" he said-- even if he felt that someone was being racist to him-- because by using it-- to justify someone's rude comment or behavior, he said, would give that person an excuse to use it too--"if you think im racist then you're racist for thinking im racist because of the color of my skin" etc

If Mattbman says he's not racist-- he's probably not racist-- just frustrated. That's what I think anyway. That's what it sounds like to me.

My god. Seriously. I'm not black or white. I'm hispanic. My grandfather was in WW2. He lost his arm. My dad was in the air force.
I go to a hick school. Because of the color of my skin (dark brown- I tan easily) a group of white rednecks thought it'd be funny to come up to me, and call me "Arabian" and you want me to believe that white people are suffering?! I have to admit i'm racist. I hold animosity towards whites. I've had people talk about me in english (i dont even know them) saying look how low class she is. Is there something wrong being hispanic? Please tell me, there is some goood in whites?

Most people that posted here trying to stand up for racism sound pretty damn racist themselves!!!! Are you serious-- "White people can really be Ignorant"???? What an ignorant thing to say!! Holy shit I think I just got dumber reading this. For everybody that doesn't get it- ALL PEOPLE CAN BE IGNORANT!!!! Just because I'm white doesn't mean I'm racist! And neither is any of my family or friends! So think about what you think about white people- that they're all(or mostly) racist?? That is a racist and ignorant thing to say...
